Exploring Brooklyn...

Day 2 in New York City started with some exploring Brooklyn with Soho and Greenwich Village. We started off in Chinatown with some bubble tea for me and Vanessa and then it was time to explore. IMG_6648 IMG_6651 We came across an Art Gallery that had some amazing pieces from Picasso to Chegall as well as more modern pieces. IMG_6714 IMG_6718 We also learnt that squirrels are much fatter here! IMG_6723 Next stop was lunch, and we pigged out on Mexican including fresh guacamole which was devoured instantly! IMG_6737 IMG_6743 IMG_6741 We headed back into the city and I got to see Times Square during the day which was just as cool, IMG_6748 and then also got to go back up the Rockefeller Skyline as we had bought a Sun and Stars ticket – the sunset was breathaking! Vanessa and I went to meet Sophie and Christina at Bryant Park for some hot cider IMG_6796 IMG_6808 and to watch the ice skating before going to see my first Broadway show – MATILDA! IMG_6826 IMG_6827
Although Sophie had tried to get me to listen to some of the songs before, I decided to go without knowing any, and man was it great! The child actors were out of this world, and were flawless! Day 2 in NY did not disappoint! IMG_6833
