Yesterday was the last day of all our boring talks about being students at GW – although they have been helpful, hearing all the things you can’t do isn’t fun! However in the afternoon we had a lot of free time so decided to visit Georgetown. This is right next to DC but is completely different and quite colonial. Olivia and I tried a cake called tres leches: very tasty but completely filling! And Liana decided to go for a cupcake from a cool place called Baked and Wired – I will definitely be going back there as I couldn’t fit one in! We also did some shopping and checked out the cool furniture that we could never afford in Urban Outfitters (as modelled in this picture by Olivia) and then went out for Mediteranean for dinner which was soo nice!
Last night was a chilled night with everyone which was cool. Today however was totally different, and we visited a water park. After a 3 hour bus journey! (though we did get to watch Mean Girls and Casino Royale), and a lot of rain we got there and it was great! So many cool slides and a really good lazy river. By the end of it though we were exhausted. Tonight we all went out for Thai which was nice and having a couple of drinks this evening. Tomorrow morning I am going down to the re-enactment of the March on Washington which I cannot wait for! I’ll keep you posted on how great it is 🙂
